Included: Hour by hour breakdown of how we can use each day effectively and maximize productivity!
We know there are so many things going on and several details to iron out with our daily routines. We wanted to give something that would make it just a little bit easier to get through the day effectively. We both have partners to help us out with these things and we definitely don’t adhere to this schedule every single day. Everyday is different and each day may shift as the day goes on. However, we know that we have a plan and a schedule to rely on when the time comes. Most days we can follow these times but again, give yourself space to make it your own and also grace when nothing goes as planned.
The schedule calls for the school activities to be pre-planned so that when the time comes, they can just get to work without much time surfing to find instructions. I lay my for sure plans out around 10a for the kids to see. We used the print outs from the Today Show and you can find those inside this post: Homeschooling During Coronavirus
The kids schools also have sent numerous emails with activities for each day and different links for them to explore for instructional learning. It’s all been difficult to manage trying to do client work as well as homeschooling the kids but this schedule has helped significantly. The kids know that mommy is working while I’m sitting at the computer and also that they are working when they are focused on a learning hour.
Each hour is dedicated to something different. The hours sometimes go into the next hour and half hour activities are also great especially for things that don’t take that long. I left them at full hours still so that there’s flexibility within the schedule. I know that brushing the kids teeth is not an hour activity. My kids get up, get dressed, complain about brushing their teeth and doing a chore but it all happens within 20 minutes. Surprisingly, they don’t complain about getting dressed but they do complain about almost everything else. With all that in consideration, below you’ll see an image you can print out and if you’d like the actual Excel/Numbers document, just DM us over on Instagram and we’ll send it your way!
We’ve got this ladies!
To your continued success,
Niché + Shameka
