We want nothing more but your continued success in running your creative business. We know that we won’t be able to work with every single one of you at this time, but we wouldn’t be passionate about entrepreneurship if we didn’t share the very way we run our business. We know that you need to fully understand how to run a business and so we’re here for that.
We choose and customize templates for our clients every day and so to DIY your business’ website, you’ll need a drag and drop platform that can house and host all your site needs from the start. The easiest way to begin this process is to actually wire frame your site first. Wire framing is the process of jotting down what your site looks like from the top to the bottom on every page you plan to create.
Thinking about what you want your clients/visitors experience to be is the first thing to work through when starting to wireframe. What story are you telling? What action do you want them to take? Where do you want them to book? And so on…
Showit has the easiest way to literally drag an object or words into place and move them how you’d like. The templates that are free can be used to start your business online and when you get going and can afford more, they have premium sites that you can upgrade to, that will give you an even more professional and luxurious look! This is quite a big difference from Squarespace as they have templates but you have to completely start from scratch and then mimic the template by yourself. I do love the checkout and commerce options Squarespace offers, but it doesn’t outshine all the features Showit has. Especially, since you can run your online shop through integrations with Shopify or any other commerce site directly by embedding those buttons or icons into your Showit pages.
The hosting for your site and blog is included within your monthly or yearly subscription but the templates are offered at a separate price. They do this because each template, free or paid, has been designed by a professional and they post and promote their templates through Showit.
How awesome is it to promote your business by supporting another small, creative business?
With our services, our clients get to kick back and let us handle the process of selecting and customizing their sites, but if you choose to DIY, you can achieve the look and experience with a little time commitment, minimal cost and a few choices!
To your continued success,
Niché + Shameka
