When thinking about women entrepreneurs that we admire in today’s society, we would be remised if we didn’t mention someone who is much like Shameka and I. Ayesha Curry along with myself and Shameka have many things in common. We have turned our passions into profits, we love the Lord and celebrate that love publicly, and we are fully committed to our husbands (who were and are athletes) and families!
It isn’t commonplace today but Christian wives are still around and are thriving. For us, Ayesha is worthy of being recognized in that she has not only capitalized on what her passions are, she has done it with grace, style and without the societal pressures demanding that she forget her faith.
Entrepreneurship along with marriage and families is a tough accomplishment to conquer, yet just like Ayesha, we strive and get better at being what God has called us to be, day in and day out.
It wasn’t until she started a family that she turned her childhood passion and food interests into a career. From a blog to her own YouTube cooking channel all the way to her own show on the Food Network, Ayesha took something she held closely to her core and began sharing it with others to turn it into a money-making business!
From her Covergirl, GoDaddy and Target endorsements to her many restaurants, television shows and her thrill for cooking that lead to a full blown line of kitchen products, Ayesha Curry is the ultimate reflection of turning your passion into profit!
One of the main takeaways from her story here is that you can 100% follow your passion and create revenue from it. It’s all about exploring different channels, seeing what works and doesn’t work, and who your target audience is. Building a fanbase of those who share similar interests is one of the basic foundational steps in building your passion into a business from the ground up.
We are proud to call her a sister in God, a woman we admire in entrepreneurship and also a pristine example of what success will look like when you turn your passion into profit!
Keep going, Ayesha! We love what you’re doing!!
To your continued success,
Niché + Shameka
